How will camp in 2021 look like?

Same as in 2020, we will be following all guidelines provided by the Ministry of Health and Toronto Public Health for summer camps, as they become available or are updated. Our cohorts will be a maximum of 16 campers. We will again offer a modified program as much as necessary in order to adhere to all the guidelines. While we will run our field trips again this summer, we will need to adjust them for certain weeks as the re-opening dates vary for the different attractions.

Furthermore, we will draw from our experience in summer 2020 and build on the systems we implemented last year. Besides enhanced health & safety guidelines, we will adapt our program, staff training and logistics accordingly.

 

Even though summer 2021 might still not be a 'normal' summer, we are confident that we will once more be able to offer our campers a fun and enriching experience with the safety that is required to keep everyone healthy.

Frequently asked questions for 2021

Q: Will camp happen in-person for sure?


A: Day camps are allowed to open as early as June 14th in the first stage of the provincial 3-staged reopening plan. Furthermore, the Ministry of Health has already published guidelines for day camps and we are only waiting for Toronto Public Health to do the same.

Q: Will field trips happen?


A: Field trips are going to be by chartered school bus or by foot (e.g. High Park). However, some of the attractions will have to be adjusted as we work with  varying reopening dates for the different attractions. We will inform parents accordingly.

Q: Will I get my money back if summer camps won't be allowed to run?

A: Yes, absolutely! We would never ever hold back your money if we can't deliver what you've signed up for.

Q: What if I change my mind and don't want to send my kid(s) to camp?


A: We offer a 'no questions asked' full refund policy until March 31st, 2021. After that, we charge a $35 admin fee per cancellation until 30 days prior to the start of the week you signed up for. After 30 days, only 50% of the fees will be refundable.

Q: How big will the groups be?

A: Cohorts will be between 12-16 campers. 

Q: Is before and after care available?


A: Yes, before and after care is available at an extra fee from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.
