At Toronto Kidz, we believe in embracing every child’s individuality and inspiring their growth. Through meaningful and engaging experiences, Toronto Kidz supports families in raising confident, curious, and independent children.
Our programs are thoughtfully designed to balance structured activities with opportunities for creativity, teamwork, and free play. Through these experiences, children develop valuable life skills such as communication, problem-solving, leadership, and resilience, while building friendships and learning to take responsibility. Guided by experienced and qualified staff, we provide a safe and inclusive environment where every child feels supported and valued.
Our Story
Toronto Kidz was founded in 2017, inspired by my own experience as a new mom searching for the perfect summer camp for my five-year-old son.
After spending hours researching camps, exploring websites, and asking questions, I noticed something was missing. While there were many wonderful programs available, most focused on the activities they offered, with less emphasis on building meaningful connections with children and their families.
Like any parent, I wanted my child to attend a camp he couldn't wait to return to each morning. A place where he loved the staff, looked forward to activities and field trips, and came home with stories, friendships, and growing confidence. Most importantly, I wanted to know he was in a safe, welcoming environment where he felt genuinely known, supported, and cared for.
That vision became Toronto Kidz.
What started as one mom's desire to create a better camp experience has grown into a community that has welcomed families from across Toronto for more than a decade.
From day one, our philosophy has been simple: great camps start with great people. That's why we put tremendous care into hiring staff who are passionate about working with children, personable, and committed to building meaningful relationships with campers and families. We place equal importance on training, equipping our staff with the skills to communicate effectively, resolve conflicts positively, encourage teamwork, and create an environment where every child feels welcome and valued.
We also embrace a Growth Mindset approach, encouraging both staff and campers to view challenges as opportunities, mistakes as learning experiences, and effort as an essential part of success. By fostering resilience, confidence, and a love of learning, we aim to help children develop skills and qualities that extend far beyond the summer months.
As Toronto Kidz continues to grow, we remain committed to the same vision that inspired its creation: providing children with unforgettable summer experiences while giving parents peace of mind. We believe camp should feel like a second home, a place where children belong, grow, and create memories that last a lifetime.
