Brigitte Gallegos
Camp Owner & Director
Brigitte is the Owner of Toronto Kidz and doubles up as one of the Camp Directors in the summer. She founded the camp in 2017 when she decided to offer high-quality programs for kids to explore their city. She's very passionate about offering a positive camp environment where campers can explore and grow. As a mother of two, she knows how busy life can get and wants to support our camp families in the best possible way! In the summer, she'll be overseeing our Royal York, Islington and Baby Point camp locations. Connecting with camp families is one of her favorite things and she can't wait to meet all campers and their families in July!

Ivan Gallegos
Co-Owner & Camp Director
Ivan is the Co-Owner of Toronto Kidz and takes on a Camp Director role for the summer. Ivan is our numbers guy who takes care of many things behind the scenes during the year. Ivan personally LOVES Toronto and all this great city has to offer. He genuinely enjoys sharing this passion with our campers through our programming which takes advantage of so many great places and things to do in the city. As a father himself, he values the importance of creating a fun while safe camp environment. In 2023, he’ll be working closely with our Location Managers at the Ossington and Eglinton Location to create an amazing day camp experience for our camp families.

Sydni Taffe
Camp Director
Sydni is joining our team this year as one of our Camp Directors. Sydni has over 10 years of experience working with children and is very excited to share her knowledge and experience with our team. She has worked in many places like the Toronto Catholic District School Board, the Toronto District School Board and even Disney. Sydni has an extensive background in sports, photography and music as well and is excited to share her talents with us. In her free time Sydni enjoys camping, hiking and walking her dog Ravioli. She'll be overseeing our camp locations at Roncesvalles, High Park North and Swansea.

Rebecca Muscant
Operations Manager
Rebecca has been working as the Operations Manager at Toronto Kidz since the summer of 2022. She is responsible for all of the logistical tasks that go along with running a summer camp. This includes everything from registrations/waitlists, recruitment, to managing our website and social media. She spends most of her days talking to parents to make sure that all of our campers have what they need for an amazing summer with Toronto Kidz. Over the summer, she acts as the liaison between parents and the Location Managers at all 8 of our locations. She writes newsletters, logistic emails, and makes sure that campers are in the same groups as their friends. She's a strong advocate for good communication, and is the person to go to if you have any questions about our camp!

Here are our wonderful location managers you will see this summer. They are all Ontario Licensed Teachers, and we are so excited for you to meet them!
Elsa Zheng
Location Manager - 151 Glenlake Ave.
Yuanchen (Elsa) Zheng, is an Ontario Certified teacher and a passionate piano teacher. She aims to provide a high-quality education experience to students and build a trustful relationship with the families involved. She believes that her professionalism, enthusiasm, and dynamic personality will make it easy for her to connect with students and co-workers to create a collaborative and positive learning environment. Working with kids is her passion, and realizing that everyone has their own unique talent and learning styles is essential. She will spare no effort to help campers achieve their full potential and let them feel welcome and valued.
Brianne Fragoso
Location Manager - 16 Baby Point Rd.
Brianne has been working as a Location Manager at Toronto Kidz since the summer of 2022. She is the Location Manager at the Baby Point location. Brianne is a Teacher with the TCDSB. She has experience teaching all age groups. She goes above and beyond to create a nurturing and inclusive camp environment where every camper and staff feels valued and supported. Brianne is very pleased to be back on the team and strives for another exceptional summer.
Abby Hunter
Location Manager - 4 Morningside Ave.
Abby is so excited to be joining Toronto Kidz this summer as the co-manager at Roncesvalles Avenue for part of the summer and the sole manager at Morningside Avenue. She is a K-6 teacher currently working towards finishing her Masters of Education in Curriculum and Pedagogy at the University of Toronto. This past year she has been working in various educational settings to learn more about how children learn and different teaching styles/approaches. This has included the public boards, private schools and a Montessori School. She has also worked at summer camps for the past five years and has loved every minute. She hopes to be able to use her passion for education and experiences working with children to help create an unforgettable summer!
Anjali Rajpal
Location Manager - 156 Roncesvalles Ave.
Anjali Rajpal is the location manager at the Toronto Kidz Roncesvalles location. She currently has a BA in Early Childhood Education and recently graduated from the Bachelor of Education program, officially making her a primary/junior teacher in Ontario! She has worked as a site manager and a program coordinator at different camps before and loves it so much. She has a strong passion for working with children and meeting new people! Some things about her are that she loves to cook/bake and her favourite thing to do is spend time with her family and friends. She looks forward to an awesome summer with everyone!
Michelle Blanchard
Location Manager - 35 Lytton Blvd.
Michelle is so excited to be the Location Manager at the Eglinton location this summer. She has so many warm and fuzzy memories from her own childhood camp experiences, and is eager to provide the same for our campers. She is a graduate from York University's Bachelor of Education program and a licensed teacher in Primary, Junior, and Intermediate divisions. Prior to entering teaching, she worked for close to a decade in extracurricular arts and leadership education, and has been supervising camps for the past 7 years. She is passionate about creating safe and inclusive camp environments for children to play, learn, grow, experiment, and, most importantly, have fun. She's looking forward to meeting pur camp families!
Jessica Vilneff
Location Manager - 25 Burnhamthorpe Rd.
Jessica graduated from York University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance with Honours, a Bachelor of Education, and a Professional Certificate in Law and Public Administration. Currently, Jessica is teaching dance workshops in schools and performing at corporate events in the Greater Toronto Area. Over the past 5 years Jessica has worked as a camp counsellor, then a coordinator, and is now excited to take on her new role as location manager.
Kayleigh Thomson
Location Manager - 851 Royal York Blvd.
Kayleigh is an elementary school teacher who has dedicated her career to working with youth in five countries across Asia, Europe, and South America. No matter what time of year it is, Kayleigh enjoys spending her free time being active outdoors. In the warmer months, she finds relaxation using her stand up paddle board on the lake. In the colder months, she explores the forests on her snowshoes. While Kayleigh tries to live a very active life, she spends her down time reading and sharing meals with friends and family.
Autumn Wouda
Location Manager - 30 Leeds St.
Autumn has been working in childcare for 10 years, including various camp, respite and teaching environments. She completed her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Childhood and Social Intuitions, and her Bachelor of Education at Western University. She is pursuing a Master of Counselling Psychology in the fall. She loves working with youth of all ages and has ample background working with youth with special needs. Autumn’s favourite hobbies include going to the gym, cooking for friends and walking her dog, Frankie!
