We'll have a fun 4-day week from Dec. 29 - Jan. 2 (no camp on Jan. 1st) for kids 4 to 12 years old in Toronto and Etobicoke including a field trip to the Museum of Illusions. Our Winter Camp will be available at two of our locations: High Park North (151 Glenlake Ave.) in Toronto and Royal York (851 Royal York Rd.) in Etobicoke. We will offer single days too if you don't need the whole week of camp.

Detectives & Mysteries
This Winter Camp is all about detectives and mysteries, giving campers the chance to dive into puzzles, clues, and exciting adventures! Over four days kids will play detectives, visit the Museum of Illusions on a mind-bending field trip, crack secret codes, and take part in a thrilling finale, the Great Heist. Each day also features hands-on crafts and indoor games that bring the theme to life while encouraging teamwork and creativity. Campers will sharpen their observation skills, solve mysteries together, and enjoy a week full of curiosity, discovery, and fun!
Camp hours: 9 am - 4:30 pm / extended hours 8:00 am - 5:30 pm (additional fee)
Weekly fee $295 / Daily fee: $79
WINTER CAMP 2025/2026
Our Winter Break Camp is a multi-activity day camp that offers a great mix of indoor and outdoor activities. If the temperatures allow it, we spend a good amount of time outdoors each day playing in the snow at nearby parks and the churchyard. For indoors play, we do arts & crafts, and theme activities. The field trip to the Museum of Illusions is the highlight of the week.
SCHEDULE
Day 1 - Dec 29 - Detective Academy
The first day kicks off with Detective Academy, where campers step into the shoes of real investigators! From making their own detective badges to training in a spy obstacle course, kids will jump into the world of problem-solving and secret missions. Campers will play detective games, test their memory with an investigation challenge, and even learn how to collect and compare fingerprints. Today, they’ll discover what makes detectives so important while practicing observation, teamwork, and creative thinking. It’s a day packed with mystery, fun, and hands-on adventures!
Day 2 - Dec 30 - Illusions & Field trip day
The second day is all about illusions and discovering how our eyes and brain can be tricked! Campers will head out on an exciting field trip to the Museum of Illusions, where they’ll explore mind-bending exhibits and optical tricks. Back at camp, they’ll experiment with invisible ink, revealing their own secret messages, and create a spinning globe-and-heart illusion craft that comes to life when twirled. Campers will also test their observation skills with fun illusion games like Wink Assassin while learning how illusions play with our senses. This field trip and illusion experience science, creativity, and plenty of “wow” moments!
Day 3 - Dec 31 - Codes & Clues
This day takes campers deeper into the world of detectives with a focus on codes and clues! Through interactive discussions, they’ll learn about the skills detectives use to solve mysteries and explore the fascinating world of Morse code and secret ciphers. Campers will practice sending and decoding hidden messages, working together to crack puzzles just like real investigators. For the creative side, they’ll make a Dino Detective craft, combining imagination with the detective theme. The day wraps up with a playful logic game, Going on a Picnic, where campers test their deduction skills in a group challenge. By the end of the day, every camper will feel like a codebreaker ready to take on any mystery!
Day 4 - Jan 2 - The Great Heist
Winter Camp wraps up with an action-packed adventure in The Great Heist! Campers will step into the shoes of detectives, creating their own disguise kits and solving the thrilling Case of the Missing Dino. From scavenger hunts to interactive mystery games, every twist brings new clues and surprises. The fun continues with music, dancing, and a detective award ceremony where each camper is officially inducted as a Toronto Kidz Detective. This last day of Winter Camp brings together problem-solving, creativity, and plenty of excitement.
